Our vocal program is designed to create a safe, supportive environment where students of all skill levels can explore the vocal arts. Private lessons and voice classes allow you to further your musical journey in a way that prioritizes well-being through social distancing, or you can enjoy online lessons in the comfort of your own home.
We offer lessons to students of all ages and levels.
Our vocal specialists have experience working with young voices and can create customized lessons suited to your child’s age and previous experience. Singing lessons for young students focus on fun exercises that teach music fundamentals and essential singing skills.
Intermediate to advanced students study advanced singing techniques and receive targeted coaching built on a foundation in bel canto (Italian classical) technique.
This is the fundamental technique used to develop healthy singing, breath management, natural tone, strength, and range. Coaching focuses on vocal diction and carefully selected songs. From this foundation, singers can explore singing in a variety of other styles. And it is never too late to start learning to sing. Whether you are new to singing or honing existing skills, our adult program offers the same expert vocal training and coaching. Older singers will review basics like body alignment, breath management, and intonation while performing songs they love to sing.
Our teachers are professional educators and musicians with extensive performance background and years of teaching experience who are committed to teaching students of all ages the foundations of healthy singing. Many of our students have performed lead roles in community theater, pursued careers as solo artists and received scholarships to UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, Pepperdine University, San Francisco Conservatory, Emerson College, Oxford School of Drama and New York Academy of Performing Arts.
