About Us
Michael and Kay Coder founded Music & More Arts Academy in1986. The emphasis of the school was to offer an integrated arts experience (Miniature Musicians) for young children. As the program grew and children progressed, new classes and private music lessons were added. Other teachers joined the staff and Music & More Arts Academy quickly evolved into an integrated arts school.
We are proud of our outstanding, professional teaching staff and the quality education they give their students. Most of them perform professionally as well as teach. Students, ranging in age from 2 to 92,
can receive training from beginning to advanced levels in art, acting, voice, piano, strings, woodwinds, guitar, ukulele and percussion.
Over the years, Music & More Arts Academy has produced and sponsored hundreds of Children's and Community Theatre plays, musicals, variety shows, concerts and more. We are thrilled to continue providing these educational opportunities for the residents of Placer County and the surrounding communities of Northern California.
